Lack of career opportunities in tier 2 cities

  • The founder and CEO of Internshala, Sarvesh Agrawal said, “I come from a small town in Rajasthan and I have closely observed the lack of opportunities students face in our tier-2 cities; due to this, some students often move to tier-1 cities while some remain unemployed.”

“I come across inspirational stories of students from tier-2 and one such example is of Abhipsa Mohanty, a BA graduate in English Literature from Bhubaneswar. She learned about internships from a relative and by pursuing three internships in her first year of college, she gave an early start to her career,” he said.

“Through this campaign, we are taking our first step towards our mission to bring meaningful opportunities to students like Abhipsa so that they can build a successful career,” Agrawal added.
