IIT Madras MTech Admissions 2019: Portal opens on March 6, check eligibility criteria

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released an official notification to invite the online applications for admission to M Tech Programme for the academic session 2019-20. As per the institute, the programme will commence from July, 2019. The applications for M Tech Programme will be accepted only in online mode.

 

Required educational qualification and experience:

 

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or equivalent or a professional qualification like AMIE or any other Associate membership as specified in the MTech admission brochure with first class or 60 per cent of aggregate marks over the 4 years.

 

Candidates must have obtained a degree through distance education/correspondence mode, the departments will follow the interview procedure for screening in such cases.

 

Candidates must hold two years of professional experience as on April 30, 2019 in the sponsoring Institution after qualifying degree.

 

How to apply:

Step 1: Step the official website, mtechspons.iitm.ac.in

 

Step 2: A confirmation email will be sent to your address. Use the link in that email to confirm your login and to create your password.

 

Step 3: You will now find an online application form under the tab ‘My Application Summary’. Fill the form.

Step 4: Upload required files

Step 5: Submit the online application form.

 

Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500/250 + service charges/taxes as applicable on the service provider bill desk.
