Karve Institute of Social Service : Launches MSW Course

Karve Institute of Social Service, Pune recently launched a postgraduate course “Master of Social Work”. The institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and it is accredited by NAAC. The course will be a full-time course with four semesters and will have a Choice Based Credit System.

 

 

Deepak Walokar, Director, Karve Institute of Social Service said, in a written statement, “The admission to MSW programme is given after qualifying the nation-wide entrance examination. Admission forms are available online on website www.karve-institute.org and offline and can be submitted in the college office, during office hours. The last date of submission of forms is June 19, 2019. The entrance exam will be held on June 25 and finally, interviews and group discussion will be held on June 27. Graduates from any faculty or those who appeared for degree exam -2019 can also apply and appear for the admission test.”

‘Institute offers four specializations- FCW- Family and Child Welfare, HRM- Human Resource Management, MPSW- Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and URCD-Urban and Rural Community Development. For further details, students can look up the official Karve Institute of Social Service website www.karveinstitute.org. Savitribai Phule Pune University degree holders are given preference as per rule,’ added the official release.
