Tariq College of Education, Jammu and Kashmir conducted a seminar about quality assurance and enhancement in higher education institutions on 10 May 2019. Delegates and research scholars from Punjab, Himachal, Jammu & Kashmir and Chennai took part in the seminar which was organised in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education (CTE), J&K.
The seminar started with an inaugural session, chaired by Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu (JU).

The keynote speaker for the session was Dr Khushvinder Kumar, principal, MM Modi College, Patiala, who spoke on the topic ‘Challenges in Higher Education’.
In the second session, experts from different fields shared their views on different sub-themes. Dr Kajal Manhas from Department of Education, JU, deliberated on the role of research in higher education.
