Delhi University Admissions 2019 to begin later this week

According to Rajeev Gupta, Dean of Students Welfare, DU, the admission process of Delhi University will begin later this week instead of May 27 and the forms will be out in the beginning of June.

Students are generally excited to get an admission in the prestigious Delhi University. Every year many students apply to reserve a seat in this university. Last year, the university had started the admission process on May 15.

When asked about the reason for the delay in admission process this year, Prof Rajeev said, “There are several reasons for the delay. But, the most prominent reason is last year’s Delhi High Court direction to DU and CBSE”. He explained that last year the Delhi High Court had instructed DU to delay it’s admission process and at the same time asked CBSE to advance its re-evaluation process to ensure the convenience of all students.

Last year, the total number of seats was 56,000.
