BMS Institute of Technology and Management in Bangalore is the first institute in state to introduce undergrduate course in Artificial Intelligence. So far 60 candidates have enrolled for first year.

Inaugurating the first year classes on Saturday, Karisiddappa, vicechancellor, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) said the move is in the right direction as the age of AI is here. “It will help provide solutions to many of our current problems,” he said.
