CTET 2019: Online registration begins @ ctet.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on December 8. The exam will be conducted in 20 languages in 110 cities across the nation.

 

According to an official notification published on the website, the CBSE CTET December 2019 online registration process has begin today @ www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates can submit online application till September 18, 2019. The fee payment can be made until September 23 by 3.30 p.m.

 

CBSE Delhi has been assigned by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India to conduct CTET.

 

For CTET July 2019, 23.77 lakh out of 29.22 lakh registered candidates have appeared for the exam. Of the 23.77 lakh students, only 3.52 lakh candidates have been qualified.

CTET exams are conducted to find candidates eligible to be appointed as teachers for class 1 to 8. The CTET will be conducted in two parts. CBSE CTET paper-1 for filling up primary teacher posts and the CBSE CTET paper-2 for filling up elementary teachers vacancies (Classes 6 to 8).

 

Those who have scored 60% or more marks will be considered as eligible and will be awarded CTET Elegibility Certificate by CBSE and the certificates are valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of result.

 

All the CTET qualified candidates can get recruited in schools run by the central government, schools under the control of UT’s, private schools, schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies.

 

CTET for Paper I will begin by 9.30 AM and conclude by 12 Noon and CTET for Paper II will begin by 2.00 PM and conclude by 4.30 PM.
