Indian Navy to release Admit Card today for AA & SSR Feb 2020 batch exam

The Indian Navy has recently invited online applications from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) & Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – for Feb 2020 batch course commencing February 2020.

The Admit Card is being issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and who are entitled to waiver of examination fee. The Indian Navy AA & SSR admit card can be downloaded through candidate login from today onward.

The Indian Navy AA & SSR Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website – https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/.

The Computer-based Examination for AA & SSR posts will be conducted from September 16, 2019 to September 21, 2019.

Selection Criteria

AA: Selection of recruits is based on the all India order of merit on their performance in Computer based Examination, subject
to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.

SSR: Selection of recruits is based on State wise merit of their performance in Computer-based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.

Computer-based Examination

(a) One common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.

 

(b) The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark.

 

(c) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).

 

(d) The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.

 

(e) The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

 

(f) Duration of examination will be one hour.

 

(g) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.

 

(h) Penalty for Wrong Answer. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the question paper. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Results of the online examination will be announced tentatively after 30 days. Approximately 10000 candidates will be called for PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination.

The merit list will be available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in on 17 Jan 20. All selected candidates will be called to INS Chilka for Final enrolment medicals.
