A two-day mega campus recruitment drive was conducted at United Group of Institutions, Allahabad wherein 155 students bagged the job offers at Infosys Ltd. This campus placement was specially organized for students of all branches of BTech, MTech and MCA.
Infosys framed the whole recruitment process in two stages i.e online assessment followed by personal interview. Infosys representation was headed by senior associate lead-talent acquisition Sarthak Sharma Interview panelists from all over India came to the event to encourage the students and lead the event. They continued with technical and HR Interview.

Sarthak Sharma said, “UGI is a big institutional body and I am really happy to see that students have really performed well in the interview sessions as students have worked hard for the campus placement”. From past many years Infosys conducted many campus placements at United, and we are really satisfied with the performance of the students and also with the performance of the students working at Infosys Ltd who are alumni of this college, he added.

The selected candidates are from all branches of B. tech and the notable part was that many students from core branches like Mechanical engineering and Civil engineering were also selected & they were so happy that UGI is putting so much of effort to build their career. All selected candidates will undergo six-month training at Infosys campus, Mysore.
One of the selected students shared his experience and said “The college has given us many valuable opportunities, and this is one of them. It feels great to be selected at one of the best IT company of the world and we must say that our goal is accomplished and lots and lots of thanks to our faculty as well as our college”.
