ICAI begins free online service to edit CA application forms

ICAI, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, who conducts Charter Accountant exams, will now let candidates edit their applications post submission. The ICAI would open the edit window for at least a week for editing details like centre, medium or group. With the introduction of the editing process, candidates will also enjoy the liberty to take the exam overseas and from a single group to both groups.

Moreover, the candidates who have applied with the old syllabus can apply with the new syllabus. The second largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, ICAI has now joined hands with National Testing Agency and also the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), giving an added advantage to the candidates to correct their errors if any.

“It is found that some candidates while filling the examination application form do not exercise reasonable care and commit errors and seek a change of Centre/Group/Medium, on account of errors committed by them in their examination application forms, after submission,” said a notification released by the ICAI.
