IAF AFCAT 2020: Application process to start from June 15

IAF AFCAT 2020 registration process is scheduled to begin from June 15, 2020, onwards by the Indian Air Force. Candidates who are interested and eligible to appear for the examination can apply online on IAF at afcat.cdac.in.

The last date to apply for the exam is till July 14, 2020. The vacancies to be filled through this recruitment drive are yet not confirmed and the subject can also be changed without notice.

The courses are scheduled to begin in July 2021 for grant of Short Service Commission, SSC in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, according to the official notification.

IAF AFCAT 2020: Age limit

Candidates who want to apply for the Flying branch should fall in the age group of 20 to 24 years of age as on July 1, 2020.

Candidates applying for Ground duty should be between 20 to 26 years of age as on July 1, 2021.
IAF AFCAT 2020: Selection process

The selection process of IAF AFCAT 2020 comprises of Stage 1 and Stage 2 written test.

STAGE-I is a screening test. Those who qualify STAGE-I are eligible to undergo STAGE-II testing. STAGE-I disqualified candidates are routed back after the announcement of results.

Candidates who are recommended by the Selection Board, you will be sent for the medical examination either at Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi, or Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru.
