In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB), has given students an option of appearing in final semester exams from their homes via online mode. It has also offered them the freedom of choosing exam dates and time slots (out of available) to appear in a particular examination.

According to CUPB examination branch, the University’s Academic Council has decided to conduct final semester online exam to avoid delay in completion of the examination process.

Vice-chancellor Prof R K Kohli said the university will hold the exams, starting July 6, as per the University Grants Commission guidelines. CUPB will only release the examination schedule and students will have the flexibility to choose dates and time slots. To avoid the possibility of repetition of questions, the university’s in-house exam-system will automatically choose questions randomly for each exam on different days. Prof Kohli said.

CUPB registrar Kanwal Pal Singh said they would conduct a mock examination on June 19 to help students check internet connectivity and ease of appearing in end semester exams.
