Postpone Lucknow University UG, PG exams in view of rising Covid-19 cases, says teachers association

The Lucknow University Associated College Teachers’ Association (LUACTA) has threatened to boycott undergraduate and postgraduate examinations if the university did not postpone it in view of rising Covid-19 cases. LUACTA has also written to CM Yogi Adityanath.

Earlier, a section of students had also made a similar demand. Examinations are scheduled in July and August. LUACTA president Prof Manoj Pandey said, “It would not be possible to follow safety norms while carrying out examination process for over 1.5 lakh students who are not only from the city but also from other parts of the state.”
