UGC HRDC along with Jamia Millia Islamia to organise three day programme on Disaster Management for Covid 19

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will conduct a three-day online short term course on ‘Disaster Management for Covid- 19 Pandemic’ commencing from 14 July to 16 July, 2020.

About 150 participants are expected to join the course online representing every nook and corner of the country. Several eminent Resource persons have agreed to interact online with these participants.

These resource persons are from the National Institute of Disaster Management. Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and some other institutions of higher learning in the country.

Prof Najma Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor, JMI will inaugurate the programme at 10.00 am followed by technical sessions.

Speakers like Dr Anil K Sinha, IAS, Dr Parvez Hayat, IPS, Prof PK Joshi, JNU, Prof. Anil Gupta, NIDM, Dr. Vishal Chhabra, Psychiatrist, ESCORTS are expected to share their experiences with participants tomorrow.
