This university will conduct exams on campus in September 2020

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, will be conducting Final Year Exams 2020 for Engineering and Pharmacy students. The exams will begin on September 16, 2020. Although many colleges are either postponing the exams due to Covid-19 spread or giving online tests, JNTUH has quite challenged the scenario by inviting students to take exams at the campus.

According to media reports, the Director of Evaluation, JNTUH, V Kamakshi Prasad, released a letter mentioning that the university will conduct exams at the campus. Also, the university has planned to conduct the fourth year second semester exams for the BTech and BPharm courses.

The Director Evaluation, JNTUH, V Kamakshi Prasad, has informed that the university will be taking all necessary precautions.

Students’ reaction for exams amid Covid-19 outbreak

Students are not really convinced of this decision of the university. State president of the National Students Union of India, Venkat Balmoori, has filed a petition in the High Court against the exams. He mentioned that the case is still with the court, the university cannot take any decision ahead of the verdict.
