NEET JEE 2020 in Corona times Gloves masks and SOPs for students

The National Testing Agency, an organisation that conducts entrance examinations for higher educational institutions, released the date for a medical entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), and an engineering entrance exam, Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE) exams on Friday, August 21, 2020. The examination body released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) today on Tuesday, August 26, 2020.

Different voices coming from all directions against controversial NEET-JEE exam

A few days ago around four thousand students went on a hunger strike demanding the government to postpone the JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 exam. The movement was supported by political leaders including Congress’ Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, her Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik, DMK President MK Stalin, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who too requested the Central Government to cancel the exams.

Environmental and climate activist Greta Thunberg has also tweeted in support of the students requesting the government to postpone the upcoming JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 exams.
