For students to clear this examination these are some important tips that they should keep in mind while preparing for the exam:

1. Making a realistic time table/study schedule

The key element is to make sure that your study plan revolves around three main aspects i.e., learn, revise and practice. Be thorough with all the topics considered very important for the examination. Make a proper timetable and follow it religiously.

Allot the specific number of hours to study each subject and spend more time on weaker areas. Alternate between the difficulty level of different subjects and maintain a balance. Set daily targets that you must achieve by the end of the day and take each topic day by day.

Do a certain set of questions each with a set time limit. Be clear with the basics and focus on the NCERT along with other preparatory books. Use diagrams, flowcharts, short tricks and make concise notes with all the formulas for easy reference, so that you can revise it during exam time. Take help of your tutor or refer to online videos in case you have any doubt, do not leave it unsolved for later.

2. Note down these essential tips

Make sure to give yourself plenty of breaks during which you should take part in recreational activities. Try to stay away from social media since it serves as a medium of causing a great deal of distraction and might make you lose your focus. Follow a healthy diet and get a good night’s sleep of at least 6-7 hours every day.

Being healthy will make you more productive, so do not stress eat or spend the entire night studying and sacrifice your sleep. Be hydrated all the time. Without good health, all the hard work can become worthless.

3. Mock tests and regular practice

Attempt previous year papers since many questions are repeated and become familiar with the pattern of the exam. Regular practice can bring in a marked difference in performance and reduce room for errors.

Do plenty of mock tests and assess your performance by analysing all your mistakes after finishing the test. Try to maintain a record of all the mistakes that you did during mock tests and revise those topics regularly. Mock tests will not only help you analyse your performance but also allow you to see your accuracy and judge your time management skills.

4. Few weeks before the exam date

During the last few weeks to exam revise the topics that you have already done before and do not start with any new topic. Go through all the important topics and the questions you did wrong during mock papers. Make sure to be well-rested before the exam. Go through all the rules and regulations for the examination and follow them diligently

Traffic can be very unpredictable and with thousands of students appearing for the examination, it is very likely for an examination centre to have hundreds of students. It essential to get the admission ticket printed and take it during the examination.
Additional tips

Do not lose confidence and trust yourself. Be cautious and do not become over-confident. Remain positive and do not stress about the result, just stay focused and give the exam calmly. Try to eliminate options in the confusing questions. Follow this strategy in the mock tests too so that it becomes your habit to refrain from making random guesses. Work hard towards achieving your goal and then nothing can stop you.
