AKTU final year exam begins over 60k students to appear

The final year examination of over 60,000 engineering and management students of 756 colleges affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University will begin from Tuesday.

The university will be carrying out three-layer scanning of candidates to assure 100% transparency and zero use of unfair means. To ensure that safety norms are followed for protection against the Covid-19 pandemic, the officials will keep an eye on all the centres from the control room. “A special bar code will be provided in the answer copy and the question paper which will ensure that there are no proxy candidates or duplication of answer sheet. Photo in the admit card will be scanned using a special machine which will immediately match the picture with our records and also the signature of the candidate will be matched,” said AKTU spokesperson Asheesh Mishra. He said this three-layered check will help in catching any ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ at the examination centres.
