Delhi University, DU is all set to conduct the second phase of the open book exams from today, September 13. As per the official data, nearly 2,000 final-year postgraduate (PG) and undergraduate (UG) students will be appearing for the DU open book exams.
DU Open Book Exam 2020 second phase is being conducted for those students who could not take the exams in August. In the second phase, the candidates can write the exams online or at the university’s exam centres.

According to Professor Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, DU, 10,000 students have registered for the second phase of the online open book exams and 3,000 of them have opted for writing the exams at the designated centres, as reported by PTI.

Meanwhile, the final semester/term / year examinations for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the OBE mode adopted by the university as one-time measure for the academic session 2019-20 in view of Covid-19 pandemic was held from August 10 to August 31.
Further, there are 10 such centres and 250 students of the School of Open Learning each have been allotted to each one while college students can take the exams at their respective colleges, Pani said.

According to reports, in total 7,000 DU students will be appearing for the open book exams in online mode.
Important note for candidates:
Moreover, all the candidates appearing for the exam have been asked to bring their own answer sheets and writing material. Also, the exam seating plans have been shared with the students in advance.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the DU colleges have been instructed to follow to the social-distancing norms.
