SBI Specialist Cadre Officer 2020
Applicants are to be from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Specialist Officer on regular basis in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies after completing the study notification. Candidates can appear for the test only once under the recruitment project.
The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination and interview but before joining the Bank.
Candidates who fail to qualify the language test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. The most important, candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria in the notification specified along with education.
Age limit
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years on 1st August 2020, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1990 and not later than 1st August 1999*. *Relaxation will be applicable as per Government norms.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must be either:-
A citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
How to Apply
Candidates can apply online in the month of February(also differ) every year. No other mode of application will be accepted. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/ advices from the bank by email/ SMS.
GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank’s website.
After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.
