As per the schedule available on the official website, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will close the application process for the Common Admission Test 2020 (CAT 2020) on November 23, 2020
The candidates who are yet to apply for CAT 2020 can submit their application on IIM CAT — iimcat.ac.in — till 5.00 pm today. The information available on the official website reads “CAT 2020 application form submission deadline is extended till Wednesday, September 23, 2020.”
The registration process for CAT 2020 commenced on August 5. The admit card for CAT 2020 will be released on October 28. The exam will be conducted on November 29.
The information available on the official website reads “The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 is to be conducted taking into account the COVID-19 crisis. The information provided on the CAT 2020 website is contingent upon the decisions and directions issued from time to time by the Central, & State governments, and CAT Group. Candidates are advised to regularly check CAT websites for further information.”
CAT 2020 is a prerequisite for admission to various postgraduate and fellow programmes of IIMs. CAT 2020 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.
