Kerala University has invited applications for admission to new degree courses allotted to aided and self-financing education institutions affiliated to the university.
Those who seek admission to various courses in 29 aided and self-financing colleges may submit their application before 5 pm on October 15, an official statement from the university said here on Thursday.

The last date for colleges to apply for new courses is October 9. So far, only aided and self-financing institutions have successfully applied for new courses, though a few government colleges too are expected to submit their applications by Friday. The courses newly offered include the traditional ones already offered by the university as well as the new set of cutting edge courses recommended by the state government-appointed committee and ratified by the state governor early this week.

The university has already started a centralised allotment process for first-year degree courses that were already in the offing. The third allotment to those courses is expected on October 17.
List of institutions that have been allotted new courses is available on the university website. The university admission portal would open for new registration and alterations, if any, in the options they have already given. Cancellation of higher options, changes in grace mark and revaluation marks, and category change can be carried out till Oct 15. Candidates whose applications were earlier rejected for non-payment of fees can also use the `Reconsider’ option on the website for submitting requests for reconsideration of their application for the third phase allotment.
