Osmania University has postponed all the examinations scheduled for today – December 8, 2020. The decision has been taken due to Bharat Bandh called by agitations against the Farm Bills. The notice released by the varsity confirms that the examination in all the colleges under Osmania University stand postponed. New dates would be announced soon.

As for the schedule, the varsity has clarified that barring the cancellation of examination scheduled for today, no changes have been made in the remaining schedule. Also, all the examination scheduled for tomorrow – December 9, 2020 would continue as per the schedule. Check the official notice below.
Students registered for the on-going college examinations are advised to keep a check on the official website. Any update regarding the examinations is also published on the university website Osmania.ac.in. Apart from Osmania, ICAI has also cancelled the exam scheduled for today to ensure candidates do not face any difficulty as roads are expected to be blocked today.
Bharat Bandh – December 8, 2020
As many as 40 farmer unions have called a Bharat Bandh on December 8, 2020. The nationwise bandh or strike is in protest of the Farm Bills 2020. Thousands of Kisans or farmers are protesting at several borders and have marched to National Capital in protest. The next level of meeting with the government is scheduled for tomorrow – December 9, 2020.
