Free education in UP private schools for students whose parents died due to Covid-19

Lucknow Private schools will give free education to children who have lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A vaccination campaign will run for students who are 18 or above. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Minister Dinesh Sharma has announced that students whose parents died due to Covid-19 will receive free education in private schools. Soon, this initiative will be taken for universities and institutions. As many as 1300 members from 23 districts under the private school association attended the meeting. As the decision was welcomed by the members of private schools, Dy Minister Dinesh Sharma said, “Private schools play a pivotal role in the education system of the state.”

 

Private schools have not only discarded the fees but also made books, school uniform fees, conveyance fees-free for such students, citing an example for other states. Earlier, the UP Government asked private schools not to increase fees for the current session.

“Uttar Pradesh is the first to begin online education,” Dy CM Dinesh Sharma said. He also members to give suggestions for the promotion of students studying in Classes 6, 7, 8, and 9.
