Jinhee Wilde is Managing Partner of WA Law Group, a Maryland based firm with a focus on all areas of immigration law. Jinhee has provided sage advice to her clients since establishing WA in 2009.

Jinhee Wilde Scholarship:

She knows full well the challenges under-graduate students in the United States face, and the fact that there are no safety nets built into the system to simplifies these challenges.  For this reason, Jinhee Wilde has established a scholarship in her name, focused on assisting one student as he/she strives to complete their studies, earn their degree, and move onto the goal of establishing a successful career.

The award winner of the Jinhee Wilde Scholarship will see $1000 deducted from their financial aid account of $1000.  The award winner will have created a well thought out and interesting essay of 700-850 words addressing the following question:

“What was the best advice someone has ever given to you and describe the impact it had in your life.”

Requirements: 

Students who apply for the Jinhee Wilde Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  1. Currently enrolled at an accredited US college or university.
  2. Currently a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior
  3. Submit a 700-850 word essay based on the topic noted above.

 Award amount:

  • The Jinhee Wilde Scholarship will present a one-time award of $1,000.

How to apply:

Students must provide the following information via email, with their essay attached.

  1. First and Last Name
  2. Telephone Number
  3. Mailing Address
  4. Email Address
  5. Expected year of Graduation.
  6. University or College where currently enrolled
  7. Most recent GPA
  8. Biography of 200-250 words.

Deadlines: 

All submissions must be received by December 15, 2021. The announcement date for the winning candidate will be on December 31, 2021.

Selection of the winner

The winning candidate will be informed via formal email. Funds will be sent directly to their financial aid account.
