Greetings to all. We, SMK Fomra Institute of Technology, welcomes you to this great institution. The Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Charitable Trust was founded during the year 1995 by Late Shree Kanhaiyalalji Fomra, with a view to promote the cause of education and to help the economically and socially under privileged students. This is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution.
Shree Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Institute Of Technology, also known as SMKFIT is located in Thaiyur village near Kelambakkam on Old Mahabalipuram Road (IT Highway) 35 km from Chennai, is spread over a sprawling area of 25 acres. Established in 2001, it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college imparts courses in various branches of engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as per the guidelines of AICTE.
