About the Program

IIT Hyderabad Junior Research Fellowship in Psychology 2021 is a research opportunity offered to postgraduate degree holders. The selected candidates are required to work on a project entitled – “3D Imaging-based Vein Intrusion Guide System for Pediatric and Geriatric Healthcare”. The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month plus 24% HRA for the third year.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • Hold a Postgraduate degree in Psychology

Necessary Skills for Being Shortlisted:

  • Have basic quantitative and qualitative research skills (i.e., data collection, entry, analysis).
  • Have language skills of Telugu and Hindi.

Preferable Qualifications/Skills:

The candidate must have –

  • Vulnerable populations
  • Work in multidisciplinary settings
  • Data interpretation
  • Manuscript writing
  • NET/GATE qualification

  • In order to be shortlisted, candidates must clearly mention their undergraduate and postgraduate field and university, years of graduation, final outcomes, the extent/type of research skills that they possess, their language skills, and NET/GATE qualification details (if applicable).
  • Candidates with an M.Phil or Ph.D. degree can also apply, although the post details will remain the same.
  • Candidates who are awaiting their postgraduate results can also apply for the post.
