About the Program
IIT Kharagpur Centre of Geology and Geophysics (CGG) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellows are required to work on the project entitled – “Paleoclimatic Evolution of the Indian Subcontinent as Recorded in Continental Archives During the Holocene(PEH)”. The candidates will receive a fellowship of up to INR 31,000 per month.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- Be below 28 years of age.
- Hold an M.Sc. degree with first division.
- Be NET/GATE qualified, OR.
- Hold an M.Tech. degree with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Applied Geology/Geology/Earth Sciences/Environmental Geology.
Relevant Experience:
- Have good knowledge of Sedimentology, Lake Sediments, Speleothems, Continental Geology, Paleoclimatology.

Terms and Conditions:
