The online registrations process for JEE Advanced 2021 will begin today afternoon, September 13. Till September 19, the application window of JEE Advanced 2021 will be opened, and the payment of the application fee till September 20. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 is conducted for the admission of various UG Science, Engineering, and Architecture courses in IITs. The student must be among the top 2.5 lakh successful JEE Main candidates in order to get qualified for JEE Advanced.
Due to Covid, the students who have qualified but remained absent for JEE Advanced 2020, will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 directly, without taking JEE Main 2021 exam.
Steps to apply : JEE Advanced 2021
- Visit the official website – jeeadv.ac.in.
- Using the login credentials, register into the login window of JEE Main 2021.
- The candidates can also create their new password for JEE Advanced, using the given options.
- Fill in the JEE Advanced 2021 application form and upload the scanned documents as asked.
- Using prescribed gateways, pay the JEE Advanced application fee.
- Click on submit tap.
- Then download the application form for future purpose.
Also the students are required to upload certain documents during the application process in the form of PDF formats. The documents will differ for JEE Main 2020 qualified but absent candidates and JEE Main 2020, 2021 qualified candidates.
The required documents for the JEE Main 2020 and JEE Main 2021 qualified candidates are, Class 10 – 12 Marksheets, Date of Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate, if any; PwD Certificate; Scribe Request Letter, and for students whose names are not the same as their Class 10 or Birth certificate are required to submit gazette notification showing the change of name.
For foreign students both appearing for JEE Advanced and absent in JEE Advanced 2020 are required to submit the documnets such as photo ID proof, photograph, signature, birth certificate, Class 12 marksheet, citizenship certificate/ passport, testimonial (optional), and for candidates whose names are not the same as their Class 10 or birth certificate will be required to subbmit PIO / OCI card and gazette notification which shows the change of name.
