About the Program

IIT Roorkee Department of Chemistry (DOF) Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled – “Au Doped Magnetic FexOy Nanoparticles Targeting Triple-negative Breast Cancer”. The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 55,000 per month for the first two years and INR 60,000 per month for the third year and a contingency of INR 50,000 per annum.
Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from a premium institute with a consistently good academic record
  • Have a minimum of two SCI publications and a strong knowledge of bio-inspired nanomaterial synthesis in the area with strong knowledge in cell culture

Note – The candidates who have recently submitted their doctoral thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of award of Ph.D. at the time of interview.
