About the Program
Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program 2021 is an initiative from class 12 passed international students enrolling in an undergraduate degree program. The scholarship aims to recognize students of exceptional academic excellence and creativity. The selected candidates will receive tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be an international student (a non-Canadian requiring a study permit)
  • Be currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2021
  • Be beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2022*
Benefits

Approximately 37 students will be selected for this scholarship each year. They will receive tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

How can you apply?

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ button.
Step 2: The verified schools will be contacted for the nominations.
Step 3: The university will send a personalized scholarship application link to students who have been nominated by the school and have applied for an undergraduate program.
Step 4: Complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application as per the guidelines provided and submit it.

Important Dates
School Nomination Deadline: 30 November 2021
Student OUAC Application Deadline: 14 December 2021*
Student Scholarship Application Deadline: 17 January 2022

The selection of the candidates will be based on the following factors –

Creativity
Demonstrated leadership
Potential to contribute to the global community

Terms and Conditions
International students under this scholarship program stand for non-Canadians requiring a study permit in Canada.
The applicants will only be considered for the scholarship for their first choice of program.
The schools can nominate one student per year.
