UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022 dates announced Direct link to check UPSC ESE schedule

UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022: The examination schedule of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineering Services Exam (ESE) 2022 has been released on the official website – upsc.gov.in. As per the schedule released by UPSC, the ESE prelims will be conducted on February 20, 2022 in two shifts i.e., 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.

Selection procedure for UPSC ESE prelims:
The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:

Stage I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination;

Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers) and

Stage III: Personality test

UPSC Engineering Prelims 2021-22 pattern:
The Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination will consist of two objective type (multiple choices) questions and carry a maximum of 500 marks (Paper 1 – 200 Marks & Paper II – 300 Marks).

Mobile phones not permitted:
The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations.

Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items, including mobile phones/pagers, to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safe-keeping cannot be assured.
