About the Program

IIT BHU Varanasi Department of Physics (DP) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on the project entitled, “Development of Perovskite Oxides SrCeO3 and Sr2CeO4 as High-temperature Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC) Materials for Aerospace Applications”. The selected candidate will receive an emolument of INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for 3rd year.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

Be below 30 years of age
Hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science, OR
Hold an M.Tech. degree in Ceramic Engineering/Materials Science/Metallurgy/ Mechanical Engineering With 60% marks for (General/OBC/EWS) and 55% marks for (SC/ST).
Have a valid GATE score (GATE qualified)

Benefits
