State Merit Scholarship for UG/PG Students, Haryana 2021-22

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must

  • Be domicile of the Haryana State
  • Have passed the specified Public Examination from the Punjab or Kurukshetra University or any other examining body, otherwise notified by the awarding authority

  • Last Exam Passed Certificate (Except for 1st year students)
  • BPL Certificate (if applicable)
  • Father’s Death Certificate (if applicable)

How can you apply?

To Register and Apply for the Scholarship, Eligible students need to follow the below-given steps:
Step 1: Click on the “Apply Now”  and read the details carefully.

Step 2: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family Id), a list of members will be displayed, select the candidate’s name, and click on the “Generate OTP” button.

Step 3: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No. and click on the “Verify OTP” button.

Step 4: After OTP Verification, all the details get auto-filled in the Registration Form, cross-check the information.

Step 5: Select the Department and College, and create a password and click on the “Register” button.

Step 6: After successful registration, click the login link at the portal and enter the valid credentials to apply for the scholarship.

Step 7: Provide all necessary details like Course, Roll No., Eligibility, etc.

Step 8: Click on the “Apply” button to save the application.

Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates will be based on eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship once canceled will not be revived in respect of the same student.
  • If the student fails to pass his annual promotion Examination in the Ist attempt in a continuous course.
  • The awarding authority shall recover the entire amount already paid to the student wherever considered necessary.
  • The payment will be made through DBT from 2021-22 after approval from Higher Authority.
  • The scholarships under the scheme for postgraduate study viz. M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./Ph.D. classes will be paid without any consideration of the income of the parents of the candidates.
