CUET UG 2022 Phase 4: The Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2022 Phase 4 begins today, August 17 for over 3 lakh candidates. As per the schedule, Phase 4 CUET UG 2022 will continue till August 20. The CUET UG Phase 4 exam will be held at 489 examination centres located in 259 cities in India. The first phase of CUET UG 2022 will be held in two shifts: The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12:15 pm and the evening from 3 pm to 6:45 pm.

Further, the CUET UG phase 5 examinations are scheduled to be held from August 21 to 23 while the CUET UG phase 6 examination will be conducted from August 24 to 30.

A total of 44 central universities, 12 state universities, and 11 deemed universities, and 19 private universities have applied to adopt the CUET for UG admissions in the 2022-23 academic session.

SYLLABUS OF CUET 2022:

Section IA & IB: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages-Factual, Literary and Narrative, (Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary).

Section II: As given on the NTA website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Section III: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts, arithmetic/algebra, geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Section IA – 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)

Section IB – 20 Languages

Section II – 27 Domain Specific Subjects

Section III – General Test

EXAMINATION SCHEME FOR CUET 2022:

Timing of examination:

SLOT 1: 9 am to 12:15 pm (IST)

Duration of examination: 45 or 60 minutes to 195 minutes

SLOT 2: 3 pm to 6:45 pm (IST)

Duration of examination: 45 minutes to 225 minutes

Meanwhile, NTA has also created an exclusive grievance redressal e-mail. The grievances of candidates regarding subject combination, medium, question paper, etc. (if any) can be sent to cuetgrievance@nta.ac.in.

Candidates must mention their A=application number while sending their grievance. The grievances will be addressed and an examination for such candidates, if required, will also be conducted on August 30, 2022.

LIST OF BARRED ITEMS FOR CUET 2022:

Candidates are not allowed to carry instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper/ stationery/ textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone/ earphone/ microphone/ pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room.
BRIEF ADVISORY REGARDING COVID-19 PANDEMIC:

Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the examination venue:

i. Admit card along with a self declaration (undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.

ii. A simple transparent ballpoint pen.

iii. An additional photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) is to be pasted on the attendance sheet in the examination room/ hall.

iv. Any one of the authorised photo IDs (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.

v. A PwBD certificate issued by the authorised medical officer if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.

vi. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).

vii. Personal transparent water bottle.

viii. Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) if the candidate is diabetic.
