To become a teacher in India, one should pursue a B.Ed. course, as it is the basic qualification for teachers. One can pursue a B.Ed. after graduating in arts, science, or commerce with a minimum grade of 50%. Those with a BTech/B.E should have a minimum of 55% marks with specialisation in math & science. In both the cases, there is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.

We have elementary, primary, secondary, and senior secondary teachers who teach different classes as per their qualifications. In India, people become teachers by doing B.Ed. because it gives them effective teaching skills. Because of the high demand for the course, most states hold an entrance exam for admission to the B.Ed. programme.

The UP B.Ed. JEE selects candidates for the B.Ed. course in UP. While other states hold their own B.Ed. entrance exams because teaching is a stable and well-paying profession. Likewise, for becoming a government teacher in India, one should clear CTET, which is compulsory for a government teaching job. Further, for becoming a teacher in Central School, one should crack the KVS exam, which shortlists candidates for the Central schools.

This year MJP Rohilkhand University conducted the UP B.Ed. JEE, the counselling for which will occur in the last week of September. UP B.Ed. JEE is a prestigious exam because UP has one of the highest number of B.Ed. colleges in India.

With a population of 22 crores, UP has over 2 lakh B.Ed. seats because its education level is good.
Further, those planning to become elementary teachers can pursue BTC or D.El.Ed (Diploma in elementary education) which is a basic qualification for elementary teaching.

Likewise, one can pursue B.El.Ed a 4 year’s course after 12th, which prepares for a Primary teaching career. Further, for Primary teacher jobs, most Delhi schools prefer a B.El.Ed because they are experts of primary education.

Candidates after a B.El.Ed and B.Ed. can do M.Ed. which is a higher qualification in teaching.
A B.Ed. is very job oriented because teachers can find jobs anywhere. They give tuitions after school & also contribute YouTube videos attracting huge subscribers because up skilling is crucial.
Further, the job advertisements in national dailies reveal a tremendous demand for teachers because education is vital for all. In fact, teaching has provided stability to middle-class families because a teaching member ensures a stable income throughout the year. Teaching is important because it continued unabated, even during the lockdown.

Under the 7th pay commission, teacher salaries are motivating because the government wants to attract the best teachers. Further candidates who appeared in UP B.Ed. JEE 2022 & eligible for counselling should approach VGI for provisional admission because there is a mad scramble for the seats.

VGI Meerut offers a B.Ed. from CCS University because it’s a reputed university of Uttar Pradesh. We advise candidates to pursue B.Ed. through UP B.Ed. JEE because they declare the fees beforehand, thus avoiding overcharging by the colleges.

Because they hire exceptional teachers, residential schools pay their teachers well.
Because CTET cleared candidates are excellent teachers, additional schools offer 7th pay commission salaries. We advise candidates to begin as Assistant Teachers and then advance to Principal because schools value experienced candidates.

There are numerous teaching positions available as new schools open across the country.
Furthermore, after completing a B.Ed., one can pursue an M.Ed., which opens up many opportunities in education colleges as the demand for teachers grows.
