Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a resident of Maharashtra
- belong to VJNT and SBC category
- be pursuing professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, Veterinary, Architecture, and Agriculture, etc.
- have an annual family income of less than or equal to INR 8 lakh
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the award as follows –
Maintenance allowance for students staying in college attached hostel:
- For 4 to 5 years course (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, Architecture, etc.) – INR 700 per month for 10 months
- For 2 to 3 years course (Engineering Diploma, MBA, MSW, etc.) – INR 500 per month for 10 months
- For courses with 2 years and lesser duration (BEd, DEd, etc) – INR 500 per month for 10 months
Maintenance allowance for students not staying in government hostel:
- For 4 to 5 years course (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, veterinary, Architecture, etc.) – INR 1,000 per month for 10 months
- For 2 to 3 years course (Engineering Diploma, MBA, MSW, etc.) – INR 700 per month for 10 months
- For courses with 2 years and lesser duration (BEd, DEd etc) – INR 500 per month for 10 months

- College Admission Receipt
- Warden Letter
- Rent Agreement of private hostel/place (If student staying outside of hostel)
- Student Affidavit (If a student is staying outside of the hostel)
- Principal letter (If a student getting admission in an attached hostel)
- Applicant’s registration/application ID with Post Matric scholarship Scheme
- Caste Validity Certificate
- Leaving certificate
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ button below.
Step 2: Click on ‘New Applicant Registration’.
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.
