Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships 2022-23

IIAS Fellowship Award 2022

Eligibility:

* MBBS
* Engineering
* B Sc. Nursing
* MBA
* Agriculture (B.Sc) including BSc (Hons) Cooperation & Banking with Agricultural Sciences
conducted by Agriculture Universities.

Students from the following identified states are eligible to apply for scholarships.

* Gujarat
* Karnataka
* Kerala
* Maharashtra
* Punjab
* Tamil Nadu

(Students are requested to submit copy of Nativity Certificate)

Admission criteria:

Students applying for the scholarship should have secured admission under merit in Government/ Aided/ Government Recognised self-financing colleges during the Academic year 2022-23.

Annual family Income for applying the scholarship should be less than 3 Lakhs and an Income Certificate issued by Village Authorities to substantiate the same is necessary.

Benefits:

1. One seat in each discipline will be kept aside for physically challenged students, which shall be duly evidenced by a certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of DMO or an approved Medical Officer of the Bank. If applications are not received under physically challenged category, it will be utilized under general category.

2. Selected students will be reimbursed 100% of tuition fees and other educational expenses paid as per the fee structure of the college upon submission of receipts, subject to a maximum of 1 Lakh per year. Students are eligible for one Personal Computer (PC)/ Laptop (maximum 40,000/-will be reimbursed) during their course of study (within the overall eligibility of 1.00 Lakh per year).

II. Scholarship for the Wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel

1. Annual Income criteria is NOT applicable to the wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel.
2. Evidence showing the Martyrdom must be submitted.
3. All other conditions remain same as applicable to General Category.

III. Scholarship for Speech/ Vision/ Hearing impaired students

1. Students of this category who are pursuing Degree/Graduation courses or above listed professional courses can apply for the scholarship.
2. Speech/ Hearing/ Vision impairment shall be evidenced by a certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of DMO or an approved Medical Officer of the Bank.
3. All other conditions remain same as applicable to General Category.

Documents

1. Take a printout of the application submitted online and attach the following documents along with the online application:
a. Copy of Admission Letter/Admission Memo
b. Copy of course fee structure
c. Copy of Mark sheets of Qualifying Examination*
d. Copy of instructions from the University for converting the CGPA/Grade into percentage(Mandatory for MBA Applicants)
e. Copy of Family income certificate & Ration Card issued by government authorities
f. Copy of Nativity certificate.
g. Copy of ID proof & Address proof of Student and Parent.
h. Copy of Medical Certificate (applicable for physically challenged students & speech/ hearing/ vision impaired students)
i. In the case of dependant wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel who lost their life while serving the Nation, evidence showing the same needs to be submitted.

* Qualifying Examination – 12th in case of Graduation Course applicants and Graduation in case of MBA applicants.

2. Forward the hardcopy of the application form along with the above documents through post / courier to Federal Bank CSR Dept,4th Floor Federal Towers, Marine Drive Ernakulam – 682031.
