To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be Indian or overseas citizen of India
- be between the age group of 21 and 32 years as of the date of commencement of the programme
- have completed at least a bachelor’s degree before the commencement of the program
Note to OCI Candidates – In case the applicant doesn’t possess an OCI card currently, please visit the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for OCI registration. As the process takes at least 1-3 months, it is recommended that the applicant must apply for it as soon as initiate the Fellowship application.
The selected candidates will receive INR 60,000 and a certificate of completion from the SBI Foundation.
Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship using the steps listed below –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to ‘Register’. (Note – If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Start Application’ section, fill in the required details and click on it to complete ‘Preliminary Application’.
Step 4: After completing the ‘Preliminary Application’, a link will be sent on the registered email to being with the ‘Online Assessment Stage’.
Step 5: Fill in the application form with all the required details, answer the essay questions and upload the relevant documents.
Step 6: Submit the application.
