The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIMS) has launched two new Executive MBA programmes— General Management and Digital Transformation and Analytics. The programmes have been designed for working professionals in collaboration with University of Bordeaux and University of Paris, France.
The aim is to enhance knowledge and skills of business professionals. The duration of the programme is two years and will be in hybrid learning mode to accommodate the schedule of working professionals. The classes will be held online and students will be invited to the campus at periodic intervals for a Personal Contact Programme (PCP). One of the PCP will be held in France at a partnering university.
Once the course is completed, the students will obtain an executive MBA degree from IIM Sirmaur. Students who would not be able to complete two years and instead complete only one year will get a post graduate diploma. The Executive MBA in Business Management is an MBA in General Management spread over two years duration and four terms. The first two terms will offer subjects in Management like marketing, finance, strategy, accounting, organisational behaviour (OB) and human resource (HR), management information systems (MIS), operations management and quantitative methods. The third and fourth term shall comprise electives. The subjects will be taught by the faculty members of IIM Sirmaur and the partnering French university.
