Foreign students in UK to lose right to bring family What will change

International students looking to study in the United Kingdom from next year will no longer be able to bring their family – including children or elderly parents – with them.

International students who have been awarded their degrees in the UK are presently permitted to stay and work or look for work in the UK. This is at any skill level and for a period of 2 years, rising to 3 years if they successfully complete a PhD.
