Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must – 

  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Navbouddha
  • be studying at post-matric level in a government-recognized institution of the state
  • have an annual family income of less than or equal to INR 2,50,000
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive awards as follow – 

Maintenance Allowance – 

Group Day Scholar Hosteller
Group 1 550 1200
Group 2 530 570
Group 3 300 570
Group 4 230 230

Additional allowances for SC students with disabilities (type-wise disabilities) as mentioned in GR are as follow – 

Type of Disability Allowances(INR per month) [Remark – Blindness/Low vision]

  • Group I & II – INR 150
  • Group III – INR 125
  • Group IV – INR 100 (As per GR (A) of additional allowances)

Leprosy cured all groups – 

  • Transportation Allowance upto INR 100 (students residing outside the hostel campus)
  • Escort Allowance INR 100
  • Special Pay allowance for hostel employee as care-taker – INR 100  (as per GR (B, C, D) of additional allowances)

Hearing Impaired All Groups –

  • Transportation Allowance up to INR 100 (students residing outside hostel campus)
    As per GR (B) of additional allowances

Locomotor Disability All Groups – 

Transportation Allowance of upto 100 (Students residing outside the hostel campus) as per GR (B) of additional allowances

Mental Retardation/ Mental Illness All Groups – 

  • Transportation Allowance upto INR 100 (students residing outside the hostel campus)
  • Escort Allowance INR 100
  • Special Pay allowance for hostel employee as caretaker – INR 100
  • Extra Coaching allowance – INR 150 As per GR (B, C, D, E) of additional allowances

Orthopaedic Disability All Groups – 

  • Transportation Allowance upto INR 100 (students residing outside the hostel campus)
  • Escort Allowance – INR 100
  • Special Pay allowance for hostel employees as a caretaker – INR 100 [as per GR (B, C, D) of additional allowances]

In addition to the maintenance allowance, all mandatory fees/ compulsory payable fees i.e. (tuition fees, exam fees & other fees) by the student to the institutes are covered under this scheme.

Documents

  • Income Certificate(Provided by Tahsildar)
  • Cast Certificate.
  • Marksheet for last appeared examination
  • Marksheet for SSC or HSC
  • Gap & Self Declaration(if required)
  • Hostel Certificate (if required)
  • Husband’s income certificate (if a girl is married)
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps – 
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required details to ‘Register’. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Click on ‘New Applicant Registration‘.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 7: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.
