Gate 2019 result to be released on March 16: Check how to download score card

GATE 2019 result likely to release on March 16, 2019 for all 24 papers conducted. Candidates can check their result by logging in to their accounts at GOAPS portal.

 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, the body of conducting GATE 2019, is expected to release the GATE result by March 16, 2019, for all 24 papers. Students appeared for the exam can check their result by logging in to their accounts at GOAPS portal on or after March 16, 2019.

 

Details of downloading the score card of GATE 2019

 

The qualified candidates will be able to download their GATE 2019 score cards from March 20 to May 31, 2019.

 

If candidates fail to download their score card on or before 31 May 2019, then a late fee of Rs 500 will be collected to provide GATE 2019 Score Card.

 

It can be noted that GATE 2019 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.

 

No hardcopies of the GATE Scorecards will be sent to the candidates. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th February in 8 shifts.

 

Steps to download GATE 2019 Score Cards:

 

  • Step 1: Visit the official website– appsgate.iitm.ac.in
  • Step 2: Enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address
  • Step 3: Enter your GOAPS password.
  • Step 4: Go to the Result tab.
  • Step 5: Check your GATE Result 2019 displayed on the website.
  • Step 6: Download the score card and take a print out for future references.

Advantage of GATE Score:

 

GATE score is used as the criteria for admission to MTech at IITs, IISc and other universities. It is also used as a criterion for recruitment in government organisations such as cabinet secretariat, and national and state public sector undertakings in India.

 

GATE qualified candidates with good scores are paid scholarships or assistantship, especially funded by the ministry of human resources development and by other ministries.
