IIT Delhi has started off the GATE 2020 application correction process and candidates can now fix any errors they made while filling up the GATE application form for the engineering entrance examination by going to the official exam portal of GATE 2020 exam — gate.iitd.ac.
The GATE 2020 application correction window was opened from October 15 and will close on November 15, 2019.
This is for the second time that a correction window has been opened for GATE 2020 application forms.

What changes can you make under GATE 2020 application correction?
In the current GATE 2020 application correction window open from October 15, candidates can make changes in the following fields:
Candidates can select the test city wherein the examination centre for GATE 2020 will be situated. This choice will make it easier for them to reach the GATE 2020 exam centre.

How to make changes in GATE 2020 application form
You can make corrections in your GATE 2020 application form only through the official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal.
Go through the following steps to make corrections:
1. Go to the official GOAPS website — gate.iitd.ac.in
2. Click on the link — To change Examination City, Candidate Name, Father’s Name, College Name etc. Click Here’.
3. This will take you to the GATE 2020 login page.
4. Use your login credentials to enter the website.
5. Find the link to edit GATE 2020 application form.
6. Make the necessary changes, verify them and submit.
7. Take a printout of the confirmation notice for future reference.
GATE 2020 important dates
Last date for application form correction: November 15
GATE 2020 admit cards to be available from: January 3, 2020
GATE 2020 results expected: March 16, 2020.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
GATE 2020 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 in online mode across various test cities.
