Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Tuesday appointed N Panchanatham as vice-chancellor of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
Panchanatham will hold office for three years.
Panchanatham, who has been teaching for more than 29 years in the business administration department of Annamalai University, has published 33 research papers and authored five books.

He also held the post of registrar of Annamalai University during 2013-15.

“He has administrative experience of 12 years and wide international academic exposure,” a release from Raj Bhavan said adding that he had visited 35 countries for academic research and training programmes.
