Maharashtra: Online registration for admission to many courses from today

The online registration for admission to the first year of undergraduate technical courses in engineering and technology, direct second year degree in engineering, bachelor and doctor of pharmacy will start on December 9. The same is applicable to courses under Directorate of higher education such as Master of Education, Bachelor and Master of Physical Education, the five-year course in Law as well as 8 courses under Agriculture Education department.

All engineering institutes in the state will start their academic activity from January 4 and the cut-off date for all types of admissions for the academic year 2020-21 in engineering institutes would be January 14.

386604 students had appeared for the common entrance test for engineering and the result was announced online on November 28. 22 students had received 100 percentile score in Physics-Chemistry-Maths group while 19 students secured the perfect 100 percentile in Physics-Chemistry-Biology group.

The students can login to http://cetcell.mahacet.org for all details. As per the notification issued by CET cell, post two common rounds, the admissions will be held at the college level. The colleges will display vacant seats on their website and invite applications from registered candidates. They would then prepare and display merit list on the college website and their notice board. All admissions would be carried out by following government admission rules.
