SSC JE 2018 final result declared, 1840 candidates selected

NEW DELHI: Staff Selection Commission on Monday released the Junior Engineer Examination (JE) 2018 final result.

The result is declared for the candidates, who had appeared for the Document Verification (DV) held on September 11, 2020 for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2018 (Paper-II).

Detailed marks of the selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on January 13, 2021. This facility will be available for a period of one month i.e. from January 13, 2021 to February 12, 2021. Candidates may check their individual’s marks by using their Registration No. and registered password and click on Result/Marks tab on the candidate dashboard.

On the basis of Cut-Off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper-II, 3800 candidates qualified in Civil Engineering and 883 candidates qualified in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering for appearing in Document Verification.

Consequent upon Document Verification, 1840 candidates have been finally selected for appointment.

Allocation of Posts and Departments to the selected candidates has been made on the basis of ‘merit-cum-order of preference of Departments’ exercised by the candidates at the time of Document Verification.

Around 1840 candidates (1506 Civil Engineering, 192 Electrical Engineering and 142 Mechanical Engineering) selected for appointment to the posts in different Departments are given below:

There are some candidates in the Select List whose candidatures have been kept as provisional by their concerned Regional Offices. Concerned User Departments will check the eligibility of such candidates thoroughly in all respects before issuing offer of appointment to the candidates.

If a candidate is finally selected and does not receive any communication from the Commission or the concerned User Department within a period of one year after declaration of the final result, he/she must bring this to the notice of the User Department immediately thereafter.

1) Visit the SSC official website – www.ssc.nic.in

2) Click on the “Result” link provided on the homepage.

3) Now select SSC JE from the exam category.

4) Now click on the SSC JE 2018 result.

5) Check SSC JE result and save it for future reference.
