Mahadbt – Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or MahaDBT is a renowned online scholarship portal of Government of Maharashtra. It hosts around 38 post-matric scholarships offered by different departments under the state government. The students who are domiciled in Maharashtra can apply for these scholarships through MahaDBT portal. The key objective of the portal is to ensure effective implementation and disbursement of scholarships within the state. It also promotes transparency in the applications submitted and documents uploaded by students apart from the smooth disbursement of scholarships directly into the account of the beneficiaries. Some of the renowned departments include Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Directorate of Technical Education, Tribal Development Department, Directorate of Higher Education and more. The last date to apply for these scholarships at Mahadbt for the academic year 2020-21 is 31st January 2021. MahaDBT – Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Scholarships

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) under Government of Maharashtra offers 13 scholarships for students domiciled in Maharashtra. It covers merit and means based scholarships for students to fund their education at the post-matriculation level. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme The applicant should be a domicile of MaharashtraThey should belong to Maharashtra State Border or Karnataka State Border to apply for the scholarship.

The family annual income should not exceed INR 8 Lakh.

The candidates belonging to general category and have taken admission are eligible to apply.

The applicant should not avail any other scholarship or stipend.

The courses which students have enrolled in should be approved by the government or AICTE.

The students should not have had 2-year of the gap during their course.

The students must have given all semester examinations.

The students shall get the following benefits:100% tuition fee waived for Government & Non-government aided courses for students up to INR 2.5 Lakh family annual income.

For students with family annual income up to 8 Lakh will receive 50% Government and Non-government aided tuition fees.

50% and 100% of the examination fee will be paid for professional and non-professional courses.

 

Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Junior Level The students from Class 11 & 12 are eligible to apply.The students should have a DHE sanctioned letter.

The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.

The AMS junior-level scholarship amount is up to INR 3,000.The AMS senior-level scholarship amount is up to INR 7,000.
Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen The applicant’s son/daughter/wife/widow of ex-servicemen are eligible.The students should be enrolled in government-aided colleges only.

The Maharashtrian Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The college dress allowance and books allowance is paid up to INR 445.
Eklavya Scholarship The students must have graduated in degree courses of Law, Commerce & Arts with at least 60% marks and in Science with at least 70% marks.The annual income of the applicant’s parents should not exceed INR 75,000.

The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra state.

The beneficiary should not do a part-time or full-time job.

The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The scholarship worth INR 5,000 is for all the sanctioned students.
State Government Open Merit Scholarship The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra state.The applicant should have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12.

This scholarship is for students who have enrolled for Arts, Commerce, Science and Law courses.

The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

INR 100 per month will be paid directly to the student’s bank account.
Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics/Physics The students should secure at least 60% in Science exam and more than 60% in Maths & Physics in Class 12.The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.

INR 100 per month will be paid directly to the student’s bank account.
Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship The student should secure 60% marks in the Class 10 examination.The student should have passed the Class 10 exam from the State Government Vidyanikethan only.

The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.

INR 100 per month will be paid.
State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship The applicant must be a graduate student from non-agriculture University only.The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.

INR 250 per month scholarship amount will get disbursed by the department.
Government Research Adichatra The applicant must be a post-graduate degree holder.The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.

The applicant should have secured 60% marks in post-graduation.

The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

Scholarship amount INR 750 per month and INR 1,000 per year for other expenses.
Education Concession to the Children Freedom Fighter The applicants who are son/daughter/wife/widow of freedom fighters are eligible.The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme

The students should be domicile of Maharashtra.

The scholarship of INR 50 per month for PG courses and INR 60 per month for Engineering courses.Books allowance: INR 200 per annum for PG courses and INR 400 per annum for Engineering courses.
Jawaharlal Nehru University Scholarship The Maharashtrian students who have studied in JNU.The UG and PG JNU students are applicable to the scheme.

They should be domicile of Maharashtra.

Scholarship amount INR 8,000 per month plus INR 10,000 extra annually.
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Senior Level The students from Class 11 & 12 are eligible to apply.The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme. The AMS junior-level scholarship amount is up to INR 2,300.The AMS senior-level scholarship is up to INR 72,000.
Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DHE) The applicant should be domicile of Maharashtra.For professional courses, the applicants who are children of registered labour or Alpabhudarak or both are eligible.

The annual income of the family/ guardian should not exceed INR 8 Lakh.

The applicants should not avail any other Nirvah Bhatta benefits.

The applicant should attempt every semester or annual exam.

Professional courses:INR 30,000 for 10 months will be paid to students studying in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad/Nagpur city belong to marginal landholder family with annual income up to 8 Lakh.

Students whose family annual income is up to INR 1 Lakh will be paid INR 10,000 for 10 months.

Non-professional course

Scholarship worth INR 2,000 for 10 months for students whose family annual income is up to 1 Lakh.

MahaDBT – Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Scholarships

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State is a world-class, globally competitive and flexible higher education institution responsive to the individual, institutional and socio-developmental needs of the people of Maharashtra. DTE Scholarship is a broader term that mainly comprises two scholarships namely, Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna and Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna.

Detailed List of MahaDBT Scholarship – DTE

The applicant should be “Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses.

The applicants from the deemed university are not eligible.

The candidates should be admitted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The applicants cannot avail any other scholarship while applying for this.

For the current academic year, only 2 children from a family are allowed to avail benefits of the scheme.

The total annual income of the family should not exceed INR 8 Lakh.

The minimum 50 % attendance in the previous semester is required.

During the course duration, the candidate should not have had a gap of two or more years.

50 % of Tuition Fees and 50 % of Exam Fees.
Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DTE) The applicant should be an Indian national.They should be domicile of Maharashtra state.

The applicant should be “Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses.

The applicants from the deemed university are not eligible.

The candidates should be admitted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The applicants cannot avail any other scholarship while applying for this.

For the current academic year, only 2 children from a family are allowed for benefit of the scheme.

The total annual income of the family should not exceed INR 8 Lakh.

The minimum 50 % attendance in the previous semester is required.

During the course duration, the candidate should not have had a gap of two or more years.

The award is for the child of Registered Labor/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) is as follows:Scholarship worth INR 30,000 is awarded to students in the institutes in MMRDA / PMRDA / Aurangabad City / Nagpur City for the period of 10 months.

Scholarship worth INR 20,000 for 10 months for students in other areas.

Students whose annual family income is up to 8 Lakhs will be given the following awards:

Applicants who belong to the institutes in MMRDA / PMRDA/ Aurangabad City / Nagpur City will be awarded INR 10,000 for 10 months.
