Ministry of Commerce Offers Internships to UG, PG Students, Research Scholars

The Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce is inviting applications for their internship scheme from undergraduate, postgraduate and research scholars of a recognised university. The internship aims to provide the students with exposure and to understand the working culture of the Government of India.

The internship will remain open throughout the year and the applications will be accepted in online mode only. Only 20 interns will be selected at a time.

The students applying for the internship should be from the following backgrounds: Engineering, Management, Law, Economics, Finance, Computers and Library Management. However students from other backgrounds can also apply, but they will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

The internship will be for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months.

Stipend:

An amount of Rs 10,000 will be paid to the interns per month.
