BHU sets up a task force for smooth admission process for 2023-24 academic session
Banaras Hindu University: In order to manage the admission process more efficiently for the 2023-24 academic session, the Banaras Hindu University has put in place a task force. The task force has been formed by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain. The Central Admission Committee will be helped by the task force for smooth admission process.
The task force members are selected from different Institutes, Faculties and Centers and will help bridge the gap between Central Admission Committee and the respective Institute or Faculty. The task force will help in building a smooth admission process. The members will also be required to help the members of the Central committee to develop a similar admission process for post graduate admissions.
The admission to BHU is conducted through CUET UG. Last year BHU received the second highest number of applications through CUET UG. This year CUET UG 2023 began on May 21 and is scheduled to be conducted till June 7. A total of 14, 99, 778 students have registered for CUET UG 2023.
